I read a lot the other day (actually in a book about photoshop) about the difference between serif and san serif fonts. I guess serif means those little lines on the top and bottom of letters that make them look more stylized and 'professional'. Therefore, serif fonts are easier to read and are popular for books, magazines, and newspapers. Since I tend to be a little verbose, I have decided to choose a serif font for these posts.
On the flip side, san serif fonts command attention and require less space. I couldn't care less about space. As for commanding attention, I'll take readability first, being an avid reader myself.
